I cannot say this enough… There are thousands of talented Realtors in your area, but not all Realtors specialize in farm and land. Please interview licensed brokers and make sure they have the skills and are partnered with those who have the answers you will need to make your transaction successful. No one is perfect, and I will never say I am even close to it… but… I pride myself on being direct, doing my homework, and furthering my education in the field in which I hang my hat. Homesteads, Horse properties, Farms, and land have become my true passion. This doesn’t me I do not love nor do I not obtain the skill to successfully sell single-family homes. Quite the contrary! All of my research, time in crawlspaces and attics, as well as with many skilled inspectors, I have grown to not just the beauty in architecture, but the craft of building the foundation aka the fundamentals of one’s home. I spend my days researching, meeting with professionals, and walking the land. I want to continue to grow my skill level. The land is unique and the soils make a HUGE difference. So… when you are ready to build, remodel, renovate, or develop I am always willing to throw my hat into the ring for an interview. And remember, land can make or break the value of where you choose to lay your hat!!!

What should you do before buying land?
There are several steps to the process that you’ll want to initiate before beginning to buy land. The first is determining your funds. Are you planning to pay cash for the land you are purchasing or are you wondering how to buy land with no money? There are numerous generous loan options available for certain groups. If you are planning on financing your purchase with a loan, you’ll want to be pre-approved. And if you are buying with cash, you’ll want proof of income to show the seller’s agent.
You will need to find the right lender who is well-versed and can fund the purchase of land.
